Busy as a bee?

Have you ever been referred to or referred to yourself as “busy as a bee”? After watching this bee in a garden, I started researching that phrase and got the shock of my life to learn two facts about bees.

1. They don’t multi task!! Bees focus on a specific job at each stage of their life. That is why they are considered efficient.

2. They are “resters”! They need sleep. Yes they are busy for a time but it has been observed that bees rest a lot. This means they can handle any surprises or crises.

In fact, one article about bees suggest they are “strategically busy”. This blew me away!

So what does it really mean to be as busy as a bee? Think about it!
